Last month four of our forum members (Karl, Rick the Librarian, Bob Hudson and I) got together for a day trip to Fort Wint on Grande Island. The following photos are in addition to the first post of this thread plus there are a few locations shown that I did not have time to visit before.

One thing about Battery Warwick is that scrapping did not occur here in the past. Solid and barred metal doors still remain. The majority of them are gone from Corregidor.

Through the trees you can see the combined two-level control structure which functioned as primary battery and Fort Commander’s Station.

There were two separate mine control stations on Fort Wint however they are co-located under one roof. Here is the rear entrance to one of them.

No question what this station was, it is stenciled on the wall. B-1-2 for Battery Woodruff. Azimuth and Range readings are also recorded but are difficult to read now.

Here is a final view of a US Navy oiler as we conclude another boring day of exploring Philippine seacoast fortifications.
(Just checking to see if you are paying attention) Thanks again to Karl for his hospitality during my visit.
