Hey, Karl. Bob Hudson and I were near that area that day. We passed by that jeep also which I always thought belongs to one of the guys here . Bob was inspecting the DM markers from Bagac to Pilar. He showed me the battle markers along the way and I was wishing to hike those battlefields. I said to him that Karl frequents these places. Hope you didn't bit your tongue then(as their superstition goes). Hope to meet you on the road one day.

I "third" you all for all the efforts and contribution. The web was not enough with my fascination about WWII in the Philippines until I discovered this forum. Philippines WWII history lives in this forum.

Cebpac strives to be good in their service like they moved us to an earlier flight for our own convenience. But their efforts are not concerted, I lost some checked-in items at Caticlan. They did not move them to our new flight. I did not bother to claim them since I know that it's more troublesome than to buy a new ones and we wanted to go home early.
Those kind of lousy services are backed up by the fine prints. And the fine prints are too tiresome even by just looking at them.

That's a long time ago. Right now and among airlines in the Philippines, PAL and its budget airline rank first for me as to my experiences. But I guess, they and the others have taken their service one step higher than before, after scrapping the overbooking schemes. But ticket prices have risen up, no more cheap promos like before. I had a PHP1,400.00 roundtrip for two to Puerto Princesa(Airphils(PAL's budget airline).

Maybe related. As they say, old folks in Mariveles are mostly related.

Yeah, Monroes. They're in the center. It's hard to get there by now.
