Go Daddy collected 2100 peso, I paid via PayPal about $43.00. That is for 2 years however; it was started as a discount price. For renewal it may be more. I think, I am going to dish out about 10,000 peso or about $200.00 to the local web builders. Yea, armyjunk, we were all young ones. I am going to get some hands-on lessons today.

Any new pictures from me are now linked from my web page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Za010. This is one of the 17 images exhibits in the San Fernando Train Station in Pampanga; which I uploaded, with the 3rd and last batch. It is one of 4 images that show some the Japanese Imperial Forces dealings with the conquered POWs, in their hands and often without mercy. Look for this URL, I just uploaded 7 new pictures there: corregidor.proboards.com/thread/1148/san-fernando-pampanga-train-stationThe above picture is already the 10th image I have uploaded to the forum from my web page. The webpage is not up yet and is not running yet. The builders however let me link images to the forum while they continue training me. ____________ CONGRATULATIONS to Karl and to his philippine-sailor.net , and welcome to the fraternity of "web slaves", er, I mean "web masters". - xo -

Photobucket will cut Karl off 31 Dec.2018 My pictures are still showing as “3rd Party Posting” in our Corregidor forum until then. They made sure I know that by popping up a notice when I opened my account. This is the URL to Photobucket’s term page: photobucket.com/termsIt says this: ANY PAYING MEMBER WHOSE PLUS ACCOUNT WAS IN GOOD STANDING AS OF JUNE 1, 2017, SHALL CONTINUE TO RECEIVE ALL THE PHOTOBUCKET SERVICES THAT WERE AVAILABLE TO HIM/HER ON SUCH DATE, INCLUDING IMAGE LINKING AND 3RD PARTY IMAGE HOSTING, UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2018 AS LONG THEY MAINTAIN THEIR CURRENT PLUS ACCOUNT SUBSCRIPTION OR A HIGHER LEVEL PLUS ACCOUNT SUBSCRIPTION DURING SUCH PERIOD OF TIME. I recently started my own web page and post my forum contribution images from it. But there is no way I can change all past posted pictures to this web page also in that time frame. And I don’t know yet what I am going to do. I guess this is another example how a big company takes care of its little customers! __________________ Photobucket - What a bunch of bastards!Karl, I know you are too kind to say that about Photobucket, so I have. I am prepared to host your images, as I have done for Chad. I have offered the same to John. I suggest you contact Chad to explain how he's been accomplishing it. This solution may well be good for 30 years, that's the hope. In that way, even if you cease paying your private website, the images posted on this forum will continue appearing.

My apologies for not being the sharpest tool in the shed...do we need to start our own web page now in order to post pictures and findings on the Corregidor Pro Boards website or is this still a work in progress? Also will we be getting back to the way it was before somewhat?

This is from the Aircraft site I post on, interesting I thought.......they do suck i had around 10K pics posted..........
I just read an article about this. Basically, if Photobucket looses 99% of it's registered users and the remaining 1% pays the $400 then they will make $400,000,000 a year.... not bad for a 50-person company. Plus their overhead will drop as the server costs will be negligible. There is a method to their madness apparently. Still sucks though.

Photobucket screws it’s customers in more ways than one.
I have linked the URLs of some of my albums to Facebook or to the forum.
This is the 2nd person who gave me this feedback:
Karl I removed your Post, when I went on there to check the photos I got bombarded with Pop ups, too bad I wanted to share Pix of Subic, can you please find out what weekend in Feb will be the Annual Beach Bash.

Posting an image in the forum from Facebook. Today EXO taught me a new way of posting images, below is proof that it worked for me !!!!!!!!!!! By the way, this is the Libertad Flood Control Pumping Station in Pasay, Metro Manila. EXO Instructions were these: When you have an image on FB, you click on the image and generally it opens again on a page all of its own. Then you mouse right click and then “Copy image address”. Then post it in the forum, highlight it and click on the picture frame button to make it so. That did not work for me! The option “Copy image address” was not available! But I clicked on the option “Properties” and that did show the “Address URL”. And then I continued using EXO’s instructions and it worked as you can see above!

Another problem with Photobucket. The Photobucket motto must be: How to screw a customer! Za194. Photobucket URLs that did not open. I tried to use these Photobucket URLs on this page and they did not work. I did nothing wrong. How come Photobucket likes to screw their customers so much? Below here is the thread URL where I wanted to open these URLs. corregidor.proboards.com/thread/267/changes-mt-samatZa195. Photobucket response to their dead link. That was the Photobucket answer when I clicked the tiny URL. Why did it not work, I did not touch it. What kind of bad service is this? Za196. Photobucket response to their dead link. That was the Photobucket answer when I clicked the regular URL. Why did it not work, I did not touch it, or change anything. What is Photobucket screwing up? What kind of bad service is this?

Hi Karl Welteke, I am just now reading your method of posting pictures. To me pictures are everything, they tell a story just by being there and carry the forum. I would like to restore my entire thread and repost all my pix back where they belong. I hope I can meet this challenge with a little effort.
