Hello everyone, this little tidbit was just sent to me moments ago looking for an ID. My thoughts...Topside May 1942 walking north towards Mile Long Barracks. Note the huge ditch on the right side of the picture, bomb crater I guess.

I think the gap between the buildings is key

I do think they are walking towards Mile Long, but I think the gap from Google Maps is the wrong gap. I think the gap is a little further west based on the spacing of the concrete pillars. You can see the gap I'm referring to in the zoomed out image. It's on the left. ______________________________ I agree with you Pierce - because on March 1945 there was the fire in the ammo dump inside the barracks, and which caused the building above the dump to collapse. - exo. More exclusive color images from this series.

Thank you gentlemen for the correction, this screenshot has many more similarities to clinch the same location as the 1942 Topside photo. The concrete stairs and the smaller window slits either side of the large square window to the left of the staircase. Love my research in history to be precise! Thank you I will pass this tidbit onward to my pal Rob.

WOW fabulous pictures BV....love that view, I could sit for hours and ponder the days on Corregidor from there. I'm not sure how many people will be there as they will be under renovations still and the manageress has stated they are aiming for March to reopen Corregidor Inn but I will ask around. From your description I believe just near the East entrance of Malinta Tunnel. Thank you my friend
