Hi Karl
At what would you estimate the crowd size?

Hi Victor
I agree, nice find regardless.
I was impressed not only with the find but also the Bataan/Corregidor library propping it up. I have recently come into a bonanza of Corregidor books.
Which ones are your favorites?

Karl
No worries, I knew you would get back to me.
Nothing to do at the 92nd garage area at night? I don't recall much to do at night anywhere on that island, ha ha. But I can think of worse ways to spend an evening than sitting out on the beach at the "garage" with a cooler of San Migels at our feet while we plan the next days excursions. There or at that far corner table on the patio of the restaurant at the Corregidor Inn, the one on the Bataan side. It is one of my favorite places in the world. It would be a tough choice, garage or patio? Either way, who cares, I would be on The Rock.
Speaking of the Inn, could I ask favor? Could you post some picture updates on the remodel of the Inn as long as you are there anyway? I would love to see the progress as I am sure everyone would. I hope they don't move my table. I am sure you would be posting a bunch of pics from the anniversary ceremonies. Can't wait to see them. Have you ever thought of recording video?

That is one FABULOUS swag. Yes, that could very well be why it is located no where near a battery. Clearing the debris of a smashed building would be easy, moving a 12 ton monster like that, difficult to say the least. Good job, T2!

Hey Karl
I was wondering if you could clarify something for me. It concerns the resort cottages at the 92nd Garage area.
I was under the impression that the cottages were built but they were never used. I was just randomly looking for pictures of topside on google and came across Trip Advisor photos that someone took while staying at the resort cottage. And I must say the rooms looked very nice.
Were they ever opened to the public as it looks? Are they now closed as I thought they were?
I have seen the photos of the main large building that is abandoned. I believe they were taken by fots2 but I may be mistaken on that.
I have often looked at many pics of the large building and the dozen or so cottages and thought they had so much potential. I just wish they had found another location for it rather than bulldozing such and important area on The Rock as the 92nd Garage area was. There were many eye witness accounts about what went down there that so much could have been explored. But now, alas, it may all be lost forever at that locale.

Karl
Thank you for the pictures. I realize now that I must get back there and tour the shrine again. They must have added a bunch to the exhibit for I do not remember seeing much of what you have posted.

Karl
Thanks for the presentation. I can't wait to see the pictures of the basement.
The structure is now obviously occupied, do you know by whom? Corregidor workers, hopefully?
